Seville to Marbella: Discover Ronda’s Breathtaking Views and Historic Landmarks

On our journey from Seville to Marbella, we felt compelled to stop in Ronda, a town famous for its incredible views and historic landmarks. Sitting high above the El Tajo gorge, Ronda offers a one-of-a-kind experience that is hard to capture in words—this is a place you need to see for yourself. From its ancient bridges to the renowned bullring, Ronda leaves a lasting impression. Be sure to add it to your must-see list the next time you’re in southern Spain.

After indulging in a hearty breakfast buffet at the NH Plaza De Armas, it was time to bid farewell to Seville, a city that had dazzled us with its vibrant history and colourful festivals. With our bags packed and spirits high, we boarded the coach bound for Marbella, excited for the adventures that lay ahead. Little did we know, the journey itself would be just as memorable as the destinations.

The Road to Ronda: Andalusia’s Scenic Splendor
As we left Seville behind, the Andalusian countryside unfolded before us in a series of breathtaking vistas. The landscape was dotted with whitewashed villages tucked behind rugged mountains, a postcard-perfect scene that felt like a step back in time. The winding roads, flanked by rolling hills and ancient olive groves, made the drive a feast for the eyes. Every turn brought a new view, each more beautiful than the last.

Our anticipation grew as we approached Ronda, a mountaintop city perched dramatically above the El Tajo gorge. Ronda is one of those places that seem almost too picturesque to be real, where nature and history come together in perfect harmony.
