Whilst working in medicine, I learned the importance of maintaining outside pursuits and creating positive excitement during my family and play time. Traveling the world allows that, from our own backyards to across the globe.

In 2018, it was obvious how much I was spending on travel and how much I enjoyed telling the tales of our adventures. Turns out combining these two into travel writing allowed me to take press or familiarization trips with local visitor bureaus assisting with some or all of the expenses while allowing back-stage access to ask the questions I’d always wanted to know. What a treat!

So today, with hundreds of articles published, I’m happy to share my articles with you here on this site and have you access the courses we’ve created if you’re interested in something similar.

Whether your job is high- or low- stress, making the time to expand your horizons and increase your understanding of other cultures is an important part of maintaining our humanity. Travel as a political statement by honoring others’ lifestyles and not automatically expecting it to be like the benefits we sometimes take for granted in America.
